Today's recipes by Susan~You have to try this one!!

It’s that time of year again….football...peewee that is. Well during practice all of us moms love to share gossip, deals and great recipes. Some of us even think we should be the ones coaching our son’s to the NFL…but anyways, I wanted to share Malissa’s recipe for pot roast. Can I just say OMG! This was the best roast I ever made. Do not pass this one up because you will not make your pot roast any other way again.

Malissa’s Pot Roast

Roast (I used a sirloin tip)
1 Packet of Italian Dressing
1 Packet of Au Jus or brown gravy
½ Cup of Butter
Put all ingredients in crock pot and cook on low for 8 hours.
As we say in Pittsburgh……that’s it Fort Pitt!

Don’t forget the crockpot liners….omg LOVE them!

SAVE $0.75 off any ONE (1) package of Reynolds® Slow Cooker Liners (4 ct. or larger)

If you have leftovers my friend Beth recommended to make Beef Vegetable Soup. She said the soup was the tastiest ever using the leftover roast from the above recipe.

Beth’s Veggie Soup

Leftover pot roast meat (plus all drippings that are left over too)
I large can crushed tomatoes
1 large can tomato sauce
Couple of potatoes shredded
(Add a little water if you feel it’s a little thick)

Cook on low in crockpot for 8 hours

Have fun and enjoy please be sure to share your thoughts or ideas on this recipe on the Couponlicious Facebook page J
